Mary Hutter is the daughter of Pat and Sarah Schloss. After attending Saint Augustine’s for six years, she graduated and went to Michigan Tech in the Upper Peninsula where she studied human biology, microbiology, and pre-health. While at school, she met her husband, Rocco Hutter and discerned that God was not calling her to be a doctor as she originally thought, but to be a FOCUS missionary. Subsequently, after graduating Summa cum Laude, she spent the summer training to encounter college students and spread the gospel, fundraising in order to do so, and getting married! Rocco and Mary have spent the last two years at Valparaiso University in Northwestern Indiana where they also had their two children, David And Cynthia. This past year in discerning God’s will for their family, they discerned that he was calling us back to Michigan. They are very excited to see what new adventures he has in store for them here, including teaching at her alma mater!
